“Illusion’s Carnival” is the fourth release from New York-based singer/songwriter Rachael Sage. Musicians Jack Petruzelli (Joan Osborne), Doug Yowell (Suzanne Vega, Duncan Sheik) and Stephanie Winters (Paula Cole, Dar Williams) contribute to Sage’s dynamic, folk-rock arrangements. Highlights include the story songs “Camera” about the tragic life of Brandon Teena, and “Angel,” inspired by the TV show “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”.
